Teach

This week is a very hectic week for me. First, for all the wrong reasons the QC and the calibration on both Chemical Pathology machines are not in and all the tests have to wait for God knows when. Makes a doctor not such a happy camper. Why don't they try to understand? My advice to all the doctors out there-don't be selfish, try to understand the situation we-MLTs are in. If you want prompt results, try to do it your own. At least do the blood gases test on your own after all you are born geniuses (No pun intended).

With that aside, there are few things that makes me want to scream. For instance, the ability someone had imposed on being a just a bystander while we're crack our brains to make sure the machine runs well. And I've learned that A said she had no opportunity to hands on because no one told her too. My goodness, all you did was labeling the samples! You never ever took an initiative to go to the machine and learn! You wanted others to personally come to you and teach? Come on, you're now working not doing an industrial training!

Maybe I'm such a bad teacher compare to others. I've been very patient teaching her and it seems that she didn't understand a word I said. Probably that's the reason another friend of mine took the role as the teacher to teach her. The 'teacher friend' even told me not to get angry at her if she ask me a question. Here she thinks I like to get angry for no reason. I'm angry because of something that I've taught time and time again with such concise and complete and still A can't fully understood what I'm trying to teach her. That's really tick me off. Maybe I'm being unfair but all of them seem to look like a bunch of very intelligent people. Much more intelligent than me since I did not took Science stream in high school. Never mind. Next time I just keep my mouth shut. Let someone do the job.
