Baby

It's been a long time since my last blog. Nothing nice to rant about. However, with this little angel suddenly barge in my monotonous life, I've been looking forward to go to work everyday ever since. Her name is Mimi, one of the daughter of a Scientific Officer in the lab where I work. Since I've been working at a Pediatric Institute, life there has been lively with children running here and there. Although these kids are ill with terminal diseases and such.

Mimi is 7 months old (she's a girl,mind u) and she's been following her mother to work everyday, 5 days a week. Her mother put her at a daycare center at the Institute but only for a year since she's still been breast feed by her mother. The Institute supports breast feed for babies under one year old because it helps boosting the child's immune system (Ig A).

Last Wednesday, I finally manage to carry her around while her mother is out doing some errand. She's been crying realizing that her mother wasn't there so my motherly instincts cannot resist the urge to carry her around the place and care for her. Such a doll she is and heavy too! Short while after that her mother came back and she cry again at the sight of her mother. Probably she thought that her mother has left her alone. My heart felt with joy looking at the mother and daughter while rushing out of the office-I'm late for my date!
