It has been quite a week for me although still nothing much to do at work. However, the look of an little angel next door really make my day. The little angel, whose name is Wawa, aged 4, always been a very loyal bystander whenever my family and I reached home. She lives just next door to ours. I always see her stood by next to her gate looking very shy, yet aching to make an impression on us. Probably that had made her mother feels embarrassed and her older sister really took an effort just to keep her out of our sight from further embarrassment caused by her.
One night when my family and I took a drive because the weather has been very unbearable, I heard she took the house keys to unlock herself to see us outside and suddenly I overheard her father admonished her from going out!
For the past few weeks she has been in a 'house arrest' because I hardly see her. Alas, last Tuesday she got lucky because her siblings were not home yet from an afternoon religious school. Hearing me open the front gate for my mother, then she walks out of her house quietly and stood by her gate to watch me closing it. I knew someone was there. So, when I turn back and saw her with her red t-shirt and a dark blue trousers she stood there looking at me shyly. I approached her and started to get a friendly chatting with her. To my surprise, despite her shy, fragile look she answered me with such confidence for a 4 year old. Never look so shy. Finally, I bid good bye to her and she gave me the cutest smile and skipped back into her house-happy.
It really made my day.
